How wonderful it is
To be in your arms tonight.
To once again enjoy your kiss
While dancing in the moon light.

You have a way of turning me
Into a dreamy eyed kid... and when
You tell me that you love me and kiss me tenderly,
I'm slow dancing with the moon again.

Somehow my heart always knew
My true love would come along.
My darling, it waited all these years for you.
So how could this love we found be wrong?

No one has ever given me so much
As you give to me each night
I tremble as I feel your gentle touch
And once more we're dancing in the moon light.

I was always lost in a fantasy,
Spending all my time in dreamland, all alone.
Now you've come to me and set me free
And this love of ours is the greatest I have ever known.

I'm glad the stars got in my eyes so long ago
And most of my life I spent dancing with the moon, it's true
But now, every day spent here with you I know
How very much I am in love with you.

Darlin', the moon and all the stars above
Are shining down on us tonight.
Here, in your arms I'll forever stay my love.
Until the end of time, we'll be dancing in the moonlight.

"Slow Dancing With The Moon" (by Dolly Parton)
Sweet little cherry blossom
Blooming before her time
Moving her lips to her favorite song
Cherishing every rhyme Swaying her hips to the rhythm Humming along with the tune
Lost in her own little dream world
Slow dancing with the moon.
Watching her, I cannot help but go back in my mind
And suddenly I find I am 15 again
Slow dancing with the moon.
Oh, the stars got in my eyes long time ago
And I've lived my life like a lovesick clown
In a bitter sweet cartoon
Just a dreamy eyed kid
Slow dancing with the moon
Watching the girl I'm reminded
She's quite a lot like me
Trapped in the suburbs of wonderland
Lost in her own fantasy
Somehow my heart never grew up
No one ever burst my balloon
So here I am swirling in stardust
Slow dancing with the moon.
I still believe someday my wildest dreams will all come true
I'll find someone who will make me 15 again
But until then I'm slow dancing with the moon.
Oh, the stars got in my eyes long time ago
And I've lived my life like a lovesick clown
In a bitter sweet cartoon
Just a dreamy eyed kid
Slow dancin' with the moon
Still a starry eyed kid...
Slow dancin' with the moon.
