1950's...
I was a teenager and Paul Newman became a star!
He's been my favorite star ever since,
with Robert Redford being #2.
When Paul Newman married Joanne Woodward in 1958
I was tickled pink...Of course it might have been
because we shared the same name :)

Those blue eyes of his just popped off a movie or TV screen
and right into my heart.
I had tons of magazine pictures of him
on my bedroom wall for years.
He was only 12 years older than me, so as he aged
It was a pleasure for me to watch him.

In his later years....
He was still a star to be reckoned with in any kind of movie.

Just a few of my favorite movies with him starring were...
The Long Hot Summer with Joanne Woodard,
Buthch & The Sundance Kid and The Sting...
Both with Robert Redford and both my favorites.
Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, Cool Hand Luke, Road To Perdition,
The Hustler, Color Of Money, The Verdict and Absence Of Malice.

He aged like the fine wine that he sold...Newman's Own.
He was a kind, generous, humble man, husband of 50 years, father,
A Philanthropist, not only a movie star but a great actor, race car driver and
...A Legend.
He brought alot of smiles to this old gal most all her life...
Mr Newman passed away September 26, 2008 at the age of 83
Thank Heaven He'll be around forever on film.

He Will Be Missed
